Chris Dollard is a veteran information technology consultant, a cannabis industry professional, and a nano-technology enthusiast. He has a driving passion for helping companies unlock the therapeutic value in the cannabis plant through nano-processing systems, design new products to crack the wider consumer market and revolutionize research through Web3 and AI technologies.

Chris led the build-out of a 25,000 sq. ft. cannabis factory in six short months, converting an empty shell warehouse into multiple grow rooms, an analytical lab, a tissue culture lab, and a genetic portfolio of over 120 cultivars. Subsequently, he co-founded a cannabis products startup — RISE Life Science — and developed over 20 nano-based products for the California market. As COO, Chris helped the CEO raise over $5m in private placement while taking the company public on the TSX venture exchange.

Before entering the cannabis industry, Chris worked for over 25 years in the information technology industry at some of its most consequential turning points, including the launch of the IBM PC and the Macintosh, the rise of the ‘world-wide-web’ in the mid-1990s, and the global Y2K challenge of legacy systems modernization.

Bringing expertise gained from a 30-year executive career in the technology and communication sector with companies including IBM and Sony, Anton has been involved in the Canadian cannabis industry since its inception, developing strategic initiatives for the evolving health and wellness arena. He is also a founder and the former CEO of RISE Life Science Corporation, a public company that continues to develop, manufacture and market nano-emulsified, CBD-based health and wellness products for the California market, and is now expanding rapidly into the rest of the U.S marketplace.

Anton and the team at Nanotomic believe that in a new and dynamic industry sector that continues to evolve at light speed, the need to develop products based on built-in, iterative and innovative research protocols, coupled with direct communication with the consumer community they are targeted to serve, is a critical component in the discovery of new and potentially efficacious plant-based solutions.

Dr. Bennett was inspired to found his company — Prescott Logic Technologies — by a desire to share his expertise in cannabinoid research, processing, and product development.

A leading expert in the world of cannabis science, Dr. Bennett is a molecular biologist with a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry from Eckerd College.

His background in neurodegenerative disease, opiate receptors, and melanoma made him passionate about cannabis’ potential to provide relief. He holds two patents and four provisional patents and has published a series of peer-reviewed papers about cannabis innovation and medical uses.

Dr. Bennett has joined the Nanotomic team to contribute his expertise in systems, equipment, nano formulations and process engineering.
